It's kind of strange to listen to this song. Not long ago my wife's mother passed away from an aggressive cancer. Her nickname was sweet pea. Whenever I listen to this song it reminds me of her later days. It's a beautiful song. Hard to listen to some times, but beautiful none the less.
Solemn and delicate, this song captures many heartfelt emotions and presents them in a moving composition of orchestral grace and style. Highly recommended for all those who genuinely 'feel' the beauty of music.
Somber and slow with long silences and a hint of hope, this is the "goodbye" song I needed to hear. Had me contemplating my own death halfway through the first listen--so, highly recommended.
The one-man guitar orchestra has done it again! Restrained and painful with his trademark frozen-glow guitar pulling human emotion from you, at times sounding like the dying embers of life. The 2:40 swell is sublime! Andy reminds us all that the guitar is a string instrument.
